Subject: [Tweeters] Sandhill Crane at Nisqually late today

Tweeters,

As we were leaving Nisqually at the gate to the NWR, in the field to the
right was 1 Sandhill Crane and 1 Great Blue Heron walking and feeding
loosely together. WA per-county species spreadsheet indicates the Sandhill
Crane is harder to find but usually seen annually in Thurston Co.

There were bazillions of Violet-Green Swallows with some Tree Swallows mixed
in.

4 Greater Yellow legs were the only shorebirds found.

We were lucky to view one adult and one juvenile Great Horned Owl.
