Hi Tweeters,

I think the Kent Red-shouldered Hawk may have flown
the coop. I haven't seen it in over a month and with
the lengthening days I have been looking for it a lot.
February 9 is my last sighting which is ironically
the very same day Bob Sundstrom found one in Skagit
County on Valley Road. Unless the bird did some
serious one day flights it can't be the same bird.
Bob saw his hawk in the morning and I saw the Kent
bird in the afternoon/evening. I finally got around
to researching when the Skagit hawk was first seen.

There are Red-tailed Hawks nesting not very far from
where the Kent Red-shouldered was and I suspect they
probably drove him/her out.

If anyone has seen the Kent Red-shouldered since Feb 9
let me know. I would be interested to hear, thanks.
