I got a lot of responses on how to get an accurate count on swifts
going into a chimney, and thanks to all who responded. Most everyone
thought a digital recorder played back in slow mo. was the solution.
In some cases low light might be a problem with lower cost cameras, and
if course you need the equipment. In my case I have a mini DV that
needs to be plugged in. I guess I could buy a new battery.

Washington Fish and Wildlife and Audubon are exploring some involved
and high-tech ideas for the Monroe school chimney.
