As of yesterday (Thursday, March 20) at noon the mocker was still hanging
out in his holly bush just east of the junction of 400th St. and 244th Ave.
n of Enumclaw as in Charlie Wright's earlier post. He did a bit of sporadic
singing from deep in the holly where you could just barely see him but also
came out briefly for a flit about.



Also saw one TV circling just n of Fall City, King Co., and note that many
of the wintering geese, in particular the Snow Goose and the 8 Greater
White-fronts that had been regular all winter near Sikes Lake and the Nestle
buildings nw of Carnation appear to have left. Also I saw just one Trumpeter
Swan nw of Sikes Lake and none at the 32nd St. field where hundreds have
hung out over the winter. It appears the swallows drove them out.
