hello tweets,

i wrote about a scientific paper that asks if dog
walking in natural areas harms wild birds that you
might want to read;

http://scienceblogs.com/grrlscientist/2008/03/dog_walking_harms_wild_birds.php

it is possible that the lead author might check in and
respond to comments left there (not sure, though), but
he is definitely aware of the existence of this piece
since i sent him the URL after he sent me the PDF.

i am most interested to read your thoughts about the
data; specifically, were the data that the authors
present in the paper convincing to you? if not, what
other data should they have compiled that would make
their argument more convincing?

you should probably leave your comments and thoughts
on the blog piece itself to maintain the sanctity of
this list, since it might become a little contentious.
