gorgeous images that a friend sent to me for my "image

their "photograph of the week", which of course, makes
me want to brag about all your photographic talents.

I will be visiting the BirdChat listowner, Dave
Rintoul, in the lovely state of Kansas, starting
tomorrow through 1 april, but I plan to continue
posting updates for you daily on my blog. since much
of my time will be spent birding, i hope to finally
use my new camera for photographing wild birds (my
parrots are uncooperative photographic subjects, i've
found). so the "image of the day" will continue to
appear at 3pm EDT and the AMNH subway (animal) art
images will also appear at 8pm EDT, so you won't be
bored or worried that i've forgotten about you.
(actually, i haven't forgotten about you at all. in
fact, i am looking for good blackmail material about
Dave to share with all of you, heh). i will also be
meeting some of you in real life, so i am very excited
about this.
