I just put together a posting about my latest walk at
Theler Wetlands in Belfair (the end of Hood Canal) -
complete with photos of the habitats and a few birds.
Theler isn't a Nisqually, but it is an enjoyable short
easy hike with good potential to see some neat birds.
It is a great family walk or one for those who have a
few years under their belt. I met a couple in their
80's Saturday. They were holding hands and having a
great time - excited that the Tree Swallows had
returned.

Even if you didn't see one bird it would be an
enjoyable walk.
