Hi Tweets,

On Easter Sunday, March 23, I had the pleasure of finding a new yard bird
Easter Egg (albeit hatched) - a Townsend's Solitaire.

I was attracted to the bird at the top of the cherry tree because it was
making what I call the "rusty pump eek" call. From there is flew to the
front yard and feasted on Holly berries for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I
haven't seen it since then.

Now, I'm watching the Red-flowering current in the side yard for the yearly
return of an Orange-crowned Warbler. It spent almost a week last year
poking in the flowers right after they had first opened up. I love spring!
