I hiked out to the end of Point Defiance today to get a look at a very large flock of Brandt's Comorants. I counted over 294, they were mostly all together and all pointed in a south direction in the narrows, but close to the Pt. Defiance shore. That was when it really started snowing hard, a wet but heavy snow where I was. The trails turned very muddy!
