It is possible this is not a goose at all-- trumpeter swans have been
observed at the dairy all winter. This bird sounds like a juvenile
trumpeter. Can anyone out there go check it out. Question is: can the bird
fly? All trumpeters should have left this area by now, most are on their
way through B.C. following the thaw (although the past few days it seems
more like winter than spring).
