At our weekend place on the Peoh Point area of Cle Elum today we had EVENING
GROSBEAKS show up at our feeder. Joining them were CASSIN'S FINCHES (unusual
for our feeder), HOUSE FINCHES, STARLINGS (ick), PINE SISKINS, JUNCOS AND
STELLER'S JAYS. In our yard there were ROBINS, MAGPIES AND WESTERN BLUEBIRDS. A
FLICKER was happily beating away on our house. Overhead nearby were 3 TURKEY
VULTURES. On Swauk Prairie there were MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS and a ROUGH-LEGGED
HAWK.
