Subject: [Tweeters] Steller's Jay with Mouse

Sunday I went to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. There I saw a Steller's
Jay fly into a tree with a large white object in its mouth. It turned out
to be a mouse. I saw him take a few bites. Then he flew off, but I
couldn't tell if he took the mouse with him. I couldn't find any
information that indicate that Steller's Jays eat mice. I always thought
they were vegans.
