Good evening, Tweets,

I was partway through a circuit of Green Lake this evening (around 5:20) when I spotted an osprey a bit north of the boat rentals. It stayed in one of the trees for awhile, sending the pied-billed grebes and mallards below into the rushes, and then spent the following 40 minutes soaring over the lake hunting. Not sure if osprey are regular visitors to the lake or not?
