Subject: [Tweeters] Lincoln's Sparrow in Seattle, usual time

Hello, tweets.

I just watched a Lincoln's Sparrow briefly drink and bathe from the
fountain in your back yard. The end of April seems to be the time to
watch for this species. Here are the records in our yard:

13-27 Apr 94
30 Apr-1 May 95
29 Apr 96
24 Apr 97
25-30 Apr 99
22 Apr 00
27 Apr 02
27 Aug 04 (only fall record)
1 May 08

While I was watching this lovely little migrant, an Osprey flew over
the yard, only the sixth time I've seen that species overhead.
