Cause I KNOW you like birds, and you probably drink coffee too!
Did you know that buying certified shade-grown coffee can help preserve
habitat for the birds we love? Seattle Audubon and Kitsap Audubon are
teaming up with coffee roaster, Grounds for Change, to celebrate the
connections between birds and coffee during this year's International
Migratory Bird Day, May 10, 2008 from 1-3pm. Join us for a free event,
Learn,Taste,Act!, and see where the Seattle Audubon Blend coffee is
brewed. Play trivia, win prizes, sample shade-grown coffees. Bring
questions like, "Organic coffee is shade-grown, isn't it?" The event
will be held at Grounds for Change in Poulsbo and will feature a variety
of shade-grown coffees. Learn more by visiting www.shadecoffee.org
