This has been an especially good time for birds in our backyard. This morning we had five Evening Grosbeaks at our feeders. These are the first since 2001. The past week we have had two Golden-crowned Sparrows which are the first since 2000. And about a week ago an Orange-crowned Warbler was seen feeding in the brush. This is a "lifer" for our backyard.
