Hi Everyone,

This morning at Ephrata's Oasis Park (Grant Co.), the willow and cottonwood trees were bustling with warblers. I found five species including 25+ Yellow-rumps (including at least 2 Myrtle warblers); 7 Orange-crowns; 4 Nashvilles; 3 Yellows and one Townsend's Warbler.

Others birds listed included a Vaux's Swift, 2 Warbling Vireos, several Golden-crowned sparrows, and a Chipping Sparrow. Several pairs of Tree Swallows were investigating nesting cavities in the mature willow trees, unfortunately along with several starlings.

On Wednesday, in Norton Canyon (northwest of Ephrata) I found Western Kingbirds, a Lazuli Bunting, Brewer's Sparrows, and two singing Sage Thrashers.

Definitely, a fun time to be out and about!
