I am in Centralia and for the last several years I have had the pleasure of several dozen Evening Grosbeaks as regular visitors to my backyard, along with the usual visitors for this time of year. Gold & House Finches, Pine Siskins, Mourning Doves and two new species for my yard this week were the Golden & White Crowned Sparrows. That makes my yard list breaking the 60 species point. Kind of exciting, for me anyway.
