I posted 8 photos of the Ruff sighted on Thursday on the Ocean Shores Sewage
Ponds
I decided,looking at both the Shorebirds Books " Shorebirds of North America
by Dennis Paulson, and "The Shorebird Guide by Michael O'Brien,& Richard
Crossley &Kevin Karlson.
The photos in all this guides showing no dark colors on the neck on the
females.The bird I photographed showing a lot of solid dark neck ,what did
not showing this of any females of this superb books.Both books have lot's
