I birded the tree along the field south of the Office on the Refuge. >From Gee Creek to the footbridge that crosses the RR tracks I found the following highlights this morning.

Orange-crowned warbler 38
Yellow-rumped warbler 53
warbling vireo 2
hermit thrush 1
Cassin's vireo 2
black-throated gray warbler 1
Nashville warbler 2

The soras were singing away in the wetland across the rr tracks.

Also had a winter wren deep in the Carty Unit near Lake river. and a Wilson's warbler at the Plankhouse.

On Main driving from town just before Gee Creek there is a feeder(s) at a residence there were 2 black-headed grosbeaks there.

Good Birding!
