On Thursday (May 1, 2008) our son spotted a dead Brown Pelican on
the Washington shore of the Columbia River just below Bonneville Dam. The
carcass is just upstream of the Sea Lion trapping station and constitutes
the second record of this species in Skamania County. Other Fish and
Wildlife employees said that it had been there a couple of days before
being identified by our son.
