During a mid-book reading from one of stephen king's latest books (duma key) late last night, at least one "who cooks for you" was hooting somewhere outside my bedroom window for the better part of 20 minutes... even though this little bit of sammamish forest is an obvious owl habitat, this is the first conclusive evidence for any owl back there during my borrowing of this space-time continuum location. just wondering if i'd been able to see him/her back there with one of those 5-gazillion candle-power lamps?

please! no birds were injured by this imaginative stupidity. i do not own such :)
