Dear Tweeters,

First off, Howard Armstrong, Josh Parrott, Dick Abbott and I saw 400 + Greater White-fronted Geese on the Samish Flats yesterday--as far as I can remember, the largest flock any of us have seen in Skagit County.

Now to the gist of my message--Skagit County needs a few more birders for this Saturday's North American Migration Count! Specifically, we have a shortfall in Anacortes--no one to cover Washington Park!

If there is anyone out there who'd like to go birding in Skagit County on Saturday, May 10, please, please, do e-mail me! There are so many nephews getting married this year that our roster looks like a colander!
