Tina and I birded close to home today. We found a couple of good birds for Snohomish county. We had REDHEADs on the Everett sewage treatment pond. We found a small flock of GREATER WHITE FRONTED GEESE just north of the Everett STP off 12th ST NE. Tina also found a single SOLITARY SANDPIPER at the mitigated wetland southeast of the corner of 35th AVE SE and 132nd ST SE in south Everett.

There were lots of LEAST and WESTERN SANDPIPERs on Spencer Island.
