Hi Tweets,
Don't know if anyone else is interested, but I'd personally never seen
a crow on the nest before, and now I've found a whole row of them. In
Renton, on Logan Ave. between N 6th and N 8th, on the west side of the
street, there are a row of trees on Boeing parking lot property with
several crow nests, sometimes more than one to a tree. Just driving
by, I can actually see birds on the nests, and I find it sort of
exciting--they seem like such a wary bird to me, yet there they are,
in full view, and not all that far off the ground. I especially find
it interesting that they nest communally. I had no idea. Anyhow, go
check it out if you're interested. I love watching bird behavior, even
if when the bird in question is one of the most common.
Best,
Susan Littlefield
