Hi Tweets,
Don't you just love this time of year. All the migrants arriving. I personally am still waiting for a few species to show up at Wallace Swamp Creek Park but a lot have arrived. A very good day for me is usually around 30 species. On May first I had a record breaking 47.
While I was checking the park this morning a pair of GBH flew over and one of them was very light in color. (Like a gull). They were flying pretty high and the lighting wasn't the best but they did circled over me so I had enough time to establish, in my mind anyhow, that they were both GBH. Is anyone monitoring the Heronry at the Kenmore Park-n-Ride? These birds probably came from there. Has any one else seen a very light GBH?
Does any one have a suggestion of what else it would have been?
