Here in north Everett a wave of migrants passing through my yard. Looking out the window on this glum morning saw, instead of the usual urban suspects, neotropical wonders ! Three Western Tanagers in the holodiscus bush. Soon more showed up, working the flowering trees in my yard. Saw at least six, but there were probably more moving through. Along with the tanager wave, many Yellow-rumped Warblers - a mix of audubon and myrtle.
