Hey Tweets,
The last week or so, I've been watching a large flock
of Vaux's Swifts and Swallows in a feeding flock over
the Cedar River, just downstream of the Jones Road
bridge. Probably around 100 Swifts.
Most evenings they have been there, or in the area.
and they were again present this morning on my way to
work.
I suspect there MAY be a roost somewhere nearby, but
have not had the time to go chase it down.

No tanagers in the yard yet, but I expect them
anytime. Last week I had a mixed flock of Warblers
come thru, Yellow-rumped, Orange-crowned,
Black-throated Gray, and Nashville. The Wilson's
Warbler showed up the NEXT day ...

Ahhh ... Spring!
