Hi Tweeters,

This was posted by Lori Salzer on 8-19-05:

Wednesday night my husband and watched about 40 swifts
fly
into a chimney to roost for the night in a barn on the
Green River. They put on a great show and after they
went
to bed the bats came out. Also saw a skunk. The barn
(big
white barn with green trim)is owned by Argus Farms and
the
viewing site, East Green River Park is just across the
river. To get there:
-take the Auburn -Black diamond rd exit off of Highway
18
-turn right onto SE Auburn Blackdiamond Rd
-turn slight right onto SE Green Valley Rd
-Turn right onto 218th ave Se
-at the bridge, park
