Sherry and I went down to the train depot in Centralia this evening and watched about 300 to 400 swifts swirl around and drop into a brick chimney directly across from the depot. The building the swifts are using is currently empty. Just when it seemed their numbers started decreasing, more would start appear. Really fun to watch. Thanks Lori for posting the sighting.
