I made a brief trip through the main part of Juanita Bay Park this
morning and found quite a few good birds. One willow halfway out the
east boardwalk had 35 warblers bunched together in the top - mostly
Yellow-rumpeds with about 5 Orange-crowneds (including an orestera)
and a Nashville Wabler. Another flock of birds at the base of the
west boardwalk contained half a dozen Warbling Vireos, a Cassin's
Vireo, and three species of flycatchers. The best bird of the day was
a Red-necked Phalarope flying out of the bay just before 7am. This is
the second sighting for the park.
