This evening I went out to the Brady area looking for a Red-necked Phalarope. I was not disappointed and even got a bonus bird too. Along Schafer-Boom Road on the extreme western side of the Brady Loop area, I found one Red-necked Phalarope in a flooded field. Also seen was one single Least Sandpiper here.

At the south end of Foster Road, in the almost dry field there were at least 6 Semipalmated Plovers running about. I believe this is my second record for them in the Brady Loop area.

Lastly, on the way back home I stopped by a small wet area that lies just east of the Brady-Matlock Road and Monte-Elma Road intersection along Monte-Elma road. Here I found one Red-necked Phalarope and a Solitary Sandpiper.
