Hi Tweeters,

For those who might be interested, there are still plenty of Red-necked Phalaropes around to be seen. Alan Roedell, Carolyn Eagan and I spent a very rainy Tuesday at the ocean but were rewarded with plenty of sightings of the phalaropes and probably tallied a total of a hundred for the day.. They were seen in a pond at 3rd Ocosta across the road from Bottle Beach, Hoquiam Sewage Pond and at Midway Beach where they were seen in large numbers in the flooded areas next to road from our car.
