The white-throated sparrow has been hanging around my back yard today, just North of Pioneer Park, on Mercer Island. Also, last week I had a clear ID on a Nashville Warbler. Sorry to be a little slow to report it. The Nashville warbler was foraging with a mixed flock of Wilson's and orange-crowned warblers.

The sparrow has been hanging around with a flock of golden-crowned sparrows. I had many good looks at it, and it even sang this morning... Oh Sweet Canada, Canada, Canada, Canada! It was an amazing and unusual song to wake up to in the Dawn Chorus!

Good bird watching to all,
