I tried the Mint Farms Mitigation Ponds again today with better luck. Saw
four similar looking birds fly in and two stayed where I could get a good look
and identify them as Red-necked Phalaropes. Also had a mixed flock of
Canada and Cackling Geese with three Greater White-fronted Geese amongst them in
one of the ponds. No Yellow-headed Blackbirds today.

Following is all I saw from the PUD substation out to and around the
mitigation ponds:

Mallard
Cinnamon Teal
Northern Shoveler
Green-winged Teal

Red-necked Phalarope
American Crow
Violet-green Swallow
Barn Swallow
American Robin
European Starling
Common Yellowthroat
Savannah Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Red-winged Blackbird
House Finch.
Heard, but did not see a Yellowlegs.
