Thanks for all of those who posted on the spot of the Rocklyn/Old Kuchs vernal pools. I stopped by there this afternoon and was rewarded with some good birds.
The small pond closest to Rocklyn had 2 Long-billed Curlew, Greater Yellowlegs and American Pipit.

The larger pond had several Avocets, many Long-billed Dowitchers, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a few Dunlin, many Wilson's Phalaropes, and a couple I have yet to ID. There were also Shoveler's, Blue and Green-winged Teal and Mallards.

I plan to stop back by tomorrow.

I got some good pictures, but I'm behind on processing and posting them. I'll let you know when I get them up.
