Subject: [Tweeters] Juvenile Brown Pelican at Shilshole Marina

When motoring into the south entrance to Shilshole Marina yesterday
afternoon at 3:30 we were astonished to see a gull chasing a brown
pelican about
60 feet overhead. All that grey/brown color, so we think a
juvenile. I was floored,
having never seen a pelican in Puget Sound. Five minutes later, two
crows chasing
an adult bald eagle. This was aboard our small trimaran "Sterna
paradisaea."
