Yes, Swainson's Thrush have arrived in the Federal Way area as well. Heard my first , whit -whit, of the summer in our yard on Friday (16). This morning the bird was singing it's full spiraling song!. This week my yard has been a haven for Wilson's Warblers and Warbling Vireo busy working through the Vine Maples and Alder canopy.

On a visit to West Hylebos Wetlands Park www.hylebos.org, in Federal Way this morning I heard 10 different Swainson's Thrush on my walk along the boardwalk trial. At least 5 Western Tanagers and many other birds.

*************,
I heard a Swainson's thrush this morning. Just for a short time, but welcome. Last year I heard my first one on May 11th. I was starting to worry.
