here i am getting ready to visit the ibis at llama lake (should it have decided to stick around overnight) and a look outside shows me a female mule deer daintily picking her way along the edge of my forest, then silently disappearing within... my kitty's entire being was enveloped in watching the deer as well...

what a way to start the day...
