Tina Blade and I headed over to the Preston-Snoqualmie Falls View
trail this morning. Hoped in vain for photos of the Western Tanagers,
which were heard but not seen. We were, however, greeted by close-up
views of a Pileated Woodpecker and later were thrilled to spot a
lifer for both of us, a Black-Throated Gray Warbler. Photos at:
