Our yard has long been a magnet for these birds, but this morning is pretty
spectacular, with at least a dozen swarming our feeders, all but two of them
males. I suspect 3 or 4 pairs will stay and raise families. In July the
annoying juveniles will drive us crazy with their begging calls.
