The drama unfolds for the eaglet pair on the Pelican Harbor nest site in the Channel Islands that I am watching (and millions of others are watching, as well). The eaglet twins were attacked by a 3-year-old intruder eagle that swooped them off the nest. The wildlife biologists were able to reach the twins, and now the chicks are recovering. Whether or not they will be returned to the nest hasn't been determined. Links to the story and YouTube video are below.

Be sure to have the sound on, you'll hear the voices of the rescuers. About two minutes into the run look in the lower right hand corner and you'll see the head of the intruder eagle.
