Dennis and all,

Very interesting! So, do the authors propose common names for the two species? And which one kleeps the original species name in Latin? I was in France last year & spent about 20 minutes following a Winter Wren around the undergrowth at the Jardines des Plantes in central Paris (a great place for a beginning take on European birds and a beautiful place to visit in a beautiful city), and I was impressed at how similar the call notes were to "our" wrens but that the song seemed shorter and less richly modulated than our birds. I'll look up this paper the next time I'm at the library! Do you know if a PDF is available anywhere?
