If and when a split is proposed for Winter Wren, I'm sure it most certainly would have to include the Bering Sea subspecies. That subspecies is resident on the pribilof and aleutain islands. Based on their isolated status of residency on remote islands, that subspecies should have quite a bit of genetic isolation.
