Hi Tweeters,

Today at the Fill in the field just west of the central pond I observed what I think is a female Yellow-headed Blackbird. Attached is a very poor photo of the bird. If possible I would like to have the id confirmed or corrected.

A little later I saw what appeared to be a Green Heron flying north to south, at a low altitude, over the central pond, I was unable to get a photo. It appeared to have set down at the south end of the pond. In addition there were 15 to 20 Cedar Waxwings fly catching around the south west pond. A number of the residents (Pied-billed Grebes, Geese, Mallards, Red-winged Blackbirds) were busily herding and feeding youngsters. The remainder of the residents (Cinnamon Teal, Chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, Bushtits) appeared to be getting ready to start a family. It was a pretty neat day at the Fill.
Photos are located in my FLICKR site in the UBNA 5/21/07 Set

Thanks in advance for your ID help.
