Hi Tweets,

Today around 11:00 I heard an Evening Grosbeak at the top of the neighbor's
tree. I grabbed the binos hoping to get a look but it had moved down the block
and I couldn't find it. It then flew back into view and I got a great look at
it before it took off. Another one was calling farther away but I did not see
that bird. I have not seen them in the neighborhood for many years so it was a
great treat. There have also been many Western Tanagers. We have some birds
nesting in the yard (Bewick's Wrens, Red-breasted Nuthatches, flickers and
Black-capped Chickadees). Quite a few red-tails have drifted by in the last few
weeks and the Bald Eagles have been by a few times looking for crow nests.
