Hey tweets, there were 3 Wilson's Phalaropes on Shoveler Pond today at
the Fill - 2 males and a female. They were glorious in the spring
sunshine, with Mt. Rainier in the background, and the water like glass,
multiplying the birds times 2 with a perfect reflection. The
photographers lucky enough to be on hand were in heaven. As for me, I'm
always in heaven when I'm at the Fill.
Other great birds today:
Mourning Dove
at least 2 Blue-winged Teals
Black-headed Grosbeak
Western Wood-pewee
several Yellow Warblers
some Wilson's Warblers
Osprey overhead
Northern Rough-winged Swallow with nest material - Connie, Seattle
