This morning I visited the hills north of Elma/Satsop in search of Mountain Quail. No luck on the quail today. There were plenty of vocal Sooty Grouse around. I picked up my first of year Willow Flycatcher and Olive-sided Flycatcher in the hills today.

Also, on Schafer-Boom Road which is on the far west side of Brady Loop, I found a pair of Blue-winged Teal in a field that still had some water in it.
