Tweeters,

As I have not heard reports of pine grosbeaks recently from the Anacortes
area, I am posting this notice from two visiting birders from North
Carolina, Steve Semanchuk and Liz Skiles. I met Steve and Liz aboard the
Monte Carlo on the pelagic tour out of Westport on May 17th. Thanks, Steve
and Liz.

Subject: Fort Ebey Grosbeak

Hi, Marvin -
My wife and I are in Anacortes at the present time, having passed through
Whidbey Island on Saturday. We stopped at Fort Ebey and found a Pine
Grosbeak singing. It was close to the picnic area. If this is worth
noting, would you please post it to the Tweeters listserve? We are
visiting from North Carolina and it would be difficult for us to post it
ourselves.
We are available by cell phone for further details but are flying home on
Tuesday around midday.
Thanks -

Steve Semanchuk
