Tweets,

Early this morning I took a quick turn around the Montlake Fill aka Union
Bay Natural Area. No, there were no Wilson's Phalaropes, but two male and a
female Blue-winged Teals and a single male Cinnamon Teal were on the main
ponds and what proved to be a Virginia Rail parent making an incredible
racket trying to distract us from spotting his/her chick, a black puff-ball
with the bill just 1/3 grown, was at the edge of the southwest pond next to
the trail.
